Black AIDS Day: Coloring the Cause

Today, February 7, 2014 is

National Black AIDS Awareness Day!

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2010, while African Americans/Blacks only represented 12% to 14% of the United States population, African Americans/Blacks accounted for an estimated 44% of all new HIV infections among adults and adolescents (aged 13 years of older).

So, the question is…Do You Know Your Status?  If not, please get tested.  Knowledge is more than just power, it saves lives!
